    Earlier in his career, he wanted to drop his last name, 'Gonzalez', and only just go by his first and middle name 'Nicholas Edward', to avoid being typecast as Hispanic characters, but had declined to do so.
    He originally starred in the pilot episode of the 'Lucifer', TV series, but was replaced by actor Kevin Alejandro, and all of his scenes he was in were re-shot with the replacement of Alejandro instead.
    He was in the 2004 box office bomb 'Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid.'
