    Wrote and directed the films ‘Fingers’ (1978), ‘Love and Money’ (1982), ‘The Pick-Up Artist’ (1987), ‘Two Girls and a Guy’ (1997), ‘Black and White’ (1999), ‘When Will I Be Loved’ (2004), ‘Tyson’ (2008), ‘Seduced and Abandoned’ (2013) and ‘The Private Life of a Modern Woman’ (2017)
    Wrote the screenplay for ‘Bugsy’ (1991)

Why he might be annoying:

    He claimed that in college he took a hit of LSD so large that he did not come down for eight days.
    He is a compulsive gambler.
    After profiling Jim Brown for Esquire, he crashed for a couple of years at Brown’s house, where the two engaged in orgies.
    He was married to Consuelo Sarah Churchill Vanderbilt Russell for just over a year (1968-69).
    In the wake of the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, over 30 women accused him of sexual harassment or assault (2017).
    Based on their descriptions, his preferred modus operandi was to rub against a woman’s crotch or hump her leg until he ejaculated in his pants.

    In his teens, he was a dancer on Alan Freed’s ‘The Big Beat.’
    He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard.
    He taught creative writing at the City College of New York.
    He was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for ‘Bugsy.’
