Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was prone to making turnovers in his own end.
He suffered multiple concussions throughout the course of his career.
He played on eight different teams, which included two separate stints with the Flames.
He played on five different teams during his final three years.
He suffered from homesickness during his final season in the NHL.
This became public knowledge after his trade to the Wild, in which his oldest daughter, Jordyn, had written a letter to the Wild, asking the team to trade for him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was traded by the Mighty Ducks, largely in part to his refusal to leave school early in order to turn pro.
He earned the Hobey Baker Award in his senior year at the University of Minnesota (2002).
He was part of the Flames team that made an improbable run to the Stanley Cup Finals (2004).
He finished his career with the Wild (and no, Jordyn had nothing to do with it).
Although Jordyn never mailed the letter to the Wild asking for his trade to the club, his plight gave insight into what the player's families have to endure for the duration of a calendar year.
