    After years as a marginally successful lounge singer, he found his greatest fame in Woody Allen’s ‘Broadway Danny Rose’ – playing a marginally successful lounge singer.
    He had not seen any Woody Allen films before being cast in ‘Broadway Danny Rose.’
    He turned down an offer to make a cameo appearance in The Sopranos, complaining, ‘Every other word was F-you, F-this.’
