Why she might be annoying:

    She battled depression.
    At 16, she began suffering seizures, paralysis, chest pain and loss of speech.
    A deeply religious person, she tried to pray away the symptoms.
    She slept on a stone floor, ate insects, self-mutilated and drank her own urine.
    When the symptoms didn't cease, her parents assumed she was demonically possessed and sought exorcism (1973).
    In September 1975, she started weekly exorcism sessions.
    She died in her sleep in July 1976.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She studied to be an elementary school teacher.
    She maintained strong friendships, despite her personal problems.
    The attacks were so strong, three men had to hold her down.
    Her knees were destroyed from genuflecting 600 times a day as part of the exorcism rituals.
    Some of the drugs used to treat her depression were not to be prescribed to women of child-bearing age.
    Her parents and two priests were convicted of manslaughter for not getting her proper medical attention.
