    She started playing poker at age eight.
    She used a fake ID to gamble in Reno casinos as a teenager.
    Her father refused to speak to her for years after she became a professional poker player.
    She temporarily quit gambling to start her own business, but went bankrupt.
    She dated poker players Todd Brunson and Howard Lederer before marrying gambler Marco Traniello.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She is the first woman to win two World Series of Poker bracelets.
    She won her first bracelet in No Limit 2-7 Lowball, a game she had never played before the WSOP (2000).
    Brunson Doyle wrote, 'I'm convinced that she's not only the best all-around female player alive, but also ranks among the elite poker players in the world.'
    She has undergone two kidney transplants.
    She founded the non-profit organization CODA -- Creating Organ Donation Awareness.
