Why he might be annoying:

    It looks like he has the word 'fuck' in his name.
    The main reason he joined the Cubs was so he could be the first Japanese player in a Cubs uniform.
    He stated in 1995, he would not turn pro unless he was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons or the Yomiuri Giants.
    He led the league in strikeouts during his rookie year in Japan.
    He was moved into the outfield because of his poor fielding.

    At the age of 19, he came the youngest player to ever play baseball in the Olympics.
    He hit a double on the first pitch he saw in a MLB game.
    He bats left handed.
    He was selected to start in the All Star Game during his first year in the MLB.
    He won two batting titles in Japan.
    His fielding greatly improved in the outfield, and he won four Gold Gloves while playing in Japan.
