Why he might be annoying:

Koalas are sometimes mistakenly considered a ursidae bear species.
He was named after Austrailan actor Lucky Grills, whose roles were sometimes considered stereotypical.
His species height made him more vulnerable to severe car collision injuries than other animals.
He was not noticed by the driver until she arrived at a railway station seven miles from the collision site.
The collision forced his head and left arm through the car grille, making him look decapitated.
Household scissors were used to cut him free from the car's mesh grille.
He was discovered to have a chlamydial infection along with his collision injuries.

Why he might not be annoying:

He had only minor injuries from riding for seven miles in a car grille after a 60 mph collision.
The hospital that treated him was founded by Steve Irwin.
Unresponsive at first, he could sit up and eat after just two hours in intensive care.
His incident reminded drivers to be very cautious when driving in koala habitat areas.
His ordeal inspired the hospital staff to nickname him 'Lucky.'
