His career saw him alternate between Montreal, Nashville and their farm affiliates.
His nicknames are 'Cube' and 'Soupy,' the latter which was ripped off from Brian Campbell.
He fathered both his sons out of wedlock.
He is extremely undersized for a defenseman.

He was born to a Canadian mother and a Haitian father and emigrated to Canada at the age of three.
He captained the Granby Predateurs to the QMJHL's first Memorial Cup championship in 25 years (1996).
Despite being raised in his mother's home province of Quebec, he holds dual citizenship and plays for the United States in international competition.
He was a member of the Canadiens team that played in the first regular season outdoor game in NHL history (2003).
Despite his small stature, he is considered a solid defenseman who isn't afraid to use his size to his advantage.
