Why Baywatch might be annoying
Most of the female cast members have breast implants.
David Hasselhoff sang a version of the theme song.
The show had a high cast turnover.
The acting and script writing was notoriously bad.
A spin-off, 'Baywatch Nights' only lasted 2 seasons.
There was a lot of publicity when the show decided to move locations in the later years.
They had a reunion movie 2 years after the series ended.
Attempts to merchandise with their likeness did not fare well.
It has probably caused many cases of bulimia and anorexia with unrealistic portrayals of lifeguards.
It has been spoofed ad nauseam by most sitcoms and sketch comedy shows.
Why Baywatch might not be annoying
Baywatch women ranked #32 on TV Guide's Sexiest TV Stars of All-Time.
Most of the notable women have posed nude in Playboy.
Despite being cancelled by NBC for its first year, Hasselhoff himself financed it's return to syndication.
The show had lots of slow-motion footage, so that bouncing breasts could be appreciated.
