Why Fuller House might be annoying:

    Fuller...? (laziest title ever)
It is Netflix's answer to <13546>Boy Meets World<13546> reboot, Girl Meets World.
John Stamos' DUI-related legal troubles delayed the show's production.
Its premise (and most episode scripts) reads like really badly conceived fan fiction.
The initial reports verifying that Full House was getting a modern day reboot led to a viral Cracked video on YouTube titled 'Why Netflix Needs to Stop Listening to the Internet.'
For some reason, the choice was made to make the least interesting original character a spin-off star (a show centered around Stephanie? A Jesse/Becky spin-off? We'd watch the hell outta that!)
It is proof that the original cast-members have been unable to transcend the Seinfeld-like 'curse' that has prevented them from moving on successfully to other projects.
This was especially true in Stamos' case, who held an ownership stake in the show, and who actively worked to get the show produced (his independent projects consistently ended up getting cancelled).
The first episode was disappointing (basically a half hour of inside jokes directed towards its fan base).
The acting of some of the newer kids' is comparably limited (unlike young Candace or Jodie, they tend to 'yell' their lines).
Its production was dogged by the drama over whether The Olsen Twins would return to reprise their role as Michelle Tanner, or whether just one would take the role. In the end, it was decided to have Michelle be away running a fashion empire in New York.

Why Fuller House might not be annoying:

It brought back the popular catchphrases 'How Rude!' 'Have Mercy!' and 'oh, Mylanta.'
So, yeah - twenty years later and Aunt Becky's still hot as hell...
    It is harmless, wholesome entertainment.
The sitcom has DJ Tanner be a veterinarian whose late husband had been firefighter who was killed in the line of duty.
Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Baker held their own quite well considering that both cast-members had taken years-long hiatuses from their acting careers.
The fact that it was almost universally panned by bloggers and critics hasn't seemed to have affected its popularity with viewers at all.
Marla Sokoloff, who played Steph's hot 'bad influence' friend in the final season, disappointed her fans when she made clear she wouldn't be involved with the show, despite being courted (damn you Miller-Boyett - try harder!)
In one episode, DJ Tanner randomly saves her son from getting his ass kicked by wrestler-chickens with some sick Karate moves.
It was marketed with arguably one of the best promotional campaigns seen in recent years (e.g. the principal leads dancing to Silento's 'Whip and Nae Nae' in a video, Jodi promoting the show via Dancing With the Stars).
The cast also did a promotional segment on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon mocking Donald Trump (with Fallon portraying Trump pouting in Michelle Tanner's bed).
Jeff Franklin dedicated the first episode to his mother, along with the moms of Stamos, Saget, and Coulier which read 'would have loved this' (all four women died during the show's first run in the same year).
