Why he might be annoying:

    His favorite movie is 'Dumbo.'
    He appears at parades, grand openings and birthday parties (for a fee).
    The term 'White Elephant' means to spend much more money than the value of the item.
    NY Giant manager John McGraw was contemptuous of the Philadelphia Athletics and called them White Elephants. Owner/Manager Connie Mack rejected the insult and adopted the White Elephant as the teams logo (1902).
    The Athletics have played in Philadelphia, Kansas City and Oakland.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Stompers Kids' Club has one of the best bargains in Baseball, for just $12, the kid gets four tickets to a game, a baseball cap, a yoyo, binoculars, a membership card and a wallet (I guess Stomper really works for peanuts).
    His parents Stella and Stanley make rare appearances.
    He will appear at charity events.
