Why he might be annoying:

    His name rhymes with ‘daily.’
Prior to being cast as the ‘secret’ half-brother – a role earmarked for Ken Kercheval – he was slated to be cast as Bobby Ewing.
Probably not surprisingly, he regards co-star Barbara Bel Geddes as his acting inspiration.

Why he might not be annoying:

In the Vietnam War, he was an infantry radio operator for the First Air Cavalry.
He directed at least two films in which he would appear himself (‘The Marksmen’ and ‘Leaving the Land’).
Some of his watercolors have been prize auction items.
At his ranch in Ojai, California, he grows various types of produce.
He has married only once (and has two daughters to show for it).
