    Their team name gave off the impression they were literally comprised of senior citizens.
    They suspended operations twice during their stint in the FAHL.
    Their Stanley Cup challenge is remembered for the team surrendering half the goals they scored in the series.
    They scored seven goals and surrendered 14 in their series with the Ottawa Senators.

Why Smiths Falls Seniors might not be annoying:

    They posted the best record in the FAHL (1906).
    They earned the right to challenge the Ottawa Senatorsfor the Stanley Cup as a result.
    They found stability when they elected to join the IHU, following the demise of the FAHL.
    They had a great interprovincial rivalry with Ottawa, given the close proximity between the two cities.
