    Gold medalist in uneven bars at the World Gymnastics Championship (1991) and East Asian Games (1993)
    Competed at the Barcelona Olympics (1992)

Why she might be annoying:

    She was almost certainly under the minimum age of 15 at the 1991 championship games.
    North Korean officials provided three different birth years at different competitions.
    The International Gymnastics Federation responded by banning North Korea from the 1993 World Championships.
    After the age controversy erupted, she disappeared for a decade and a half.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She created an original release move dubbed the Counter-Kim.
    She was allowed to keep the medals she had won.
    She appeared in public in Pongyang as a torchbearer during the North Korean part of the Olympic torch relay (2008).
