    Recorded the singles '(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me' (1964), 'Girl Don't Come' (1964), 'I'll Stop At Nothing' (1965), 'Long Live Love' (1965), 'Message Understood' (1965), 'Tomorrow' (1966), 'Monsieur Dupont' (1969) and 'Hand in Glove' (1984)
    Won the Eurovision song contest with 'Puppet on a String' (1967)

    Her first marriage broke up in two years.
    She was huge everywhere but the US.
    She disliked her Eurovision song.
    Although she was known for performing barefoot, she always considered her feet ugly.

    She was the first female performer with three #1 hits in the UK.
    On her album 'Reviewing the Situation' (1969), she became the first singer to cover a Led Zeppelin song.
    Morrissey and Johnny Marr of the Smiths called themselves 'two incurable Sandie Shaw fans.'
    She also had successful careers as a clothing designer and a psychotherapist.
