The Resume

    (May 15, 1963- )
    Born in St. Paul, Minnesota
    Original 'Annie' actress (Off-Broadway, 1976)
    Replaced by Andrea McArdle
Portrayed Morgan Richards on Guiding Light (1980–81)
Released albums 'Kristen Vigard' (1988) and 'God, Loves and Angels' (2004)
Acted in 'The Black Stallion' (1979) and 'The Survivors' (1983)
Performed with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fishbone
Lead vocalist for New White Trash

Why she might be annoying:

    She released an eponymous album.
She made her acting debut at the age of six.
She was released from the trial production of 'Annie' after barely a week because producers deemed her performance 'too sweet' to be a street-smart character.
She stayed on with the production as the understudy for Andrea McArdle, who opened to rave reviews and was nominated for a Tony (insult added to injury).
Her stint on Guiding Light got her on the cover of People Magazine as one of the 'Torrid Teens on the Soaps.'

Why she might not be annoying:

Her vocal stylings were compared to Paul Simon
She was one of the first clients to be signed to the children's division of the Ford Modeling Agency, along with Brooke Shields and Ricky Schroder.
At the grand opening of the Manhattan Plaza housing complex in 1977, she presented a bouquet of flowers to Second Lady Joan Mondale.
Her storyline on Guiding Light had her play girlfriend to a young Kevin Bacon, who played her alcoholic boyfriend.
Her debut album was chosen as one of the top 100 albums of the year by Playboy and reached the Billboard Top 30.
Her vocals are featured on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Mothers Milk' and 'One Hot Minute' albums.
She sang the vocals for Illeana Douglas in the film 'Grace of My Heart.'
Her last minute firing as 'Annie' is widely considered one of the biggest injustices in Broadway history (an opinion even Andrea herself shares).
