Why he might be annoying:

He famously had a confrontation with Charles Barkley at the 1996 Olympics.
The confrontation came after Barkley shoved him following Heal shooting his fourth three-pointer of the game. The two almost came to blows.
The clash was so intense that - 25 years later - when his daughter Shyla, was drafted with the No. 8 overall pick in the WNBA Draft, Barkley said: 'Shane Heal, I want to congratulate you on your daughter, but you are so lucky I didn't kill your ass at the Olympics.'
He had two stints with the NBA that failed to translate from his Australian career (each stint lasted a single season).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is feisty.
He topped all scorers with 28 points including hitting 8 of 12 three pointers against the USA Dream Team in a warm up match for the 1996 Olympic Games, leading the team to a remarkable 4th-place finish.
In addition to Atlanta, he also represented the Australian Boomers at the 1992, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
Despite their mutual antagonism, he and Barkley hugged it out on the court after the game.
Heal himself said: 'From that point on he was great. During the battle he was a knucklehead but then you forget about it and you move on.'
