Nicknamed 'Curly'

Why he might be annoying:

As a boy, he was frequently sent home from school for bothering the other children.
He married and divorced twice.
He once described himself as 'stubborn.'
He suffered from anxiety attacks.
He was infamous for making phone calls at any time during the day or night.
Despite mainly playing lighthearted roles, it is his portrayal of a cold-hearted killer in 'Strangers on a Train' that he's remembered for.
He died suddenly during the filming of 'My Son John,' so random clips of him had to be edited in to hide his absence.

Why he might not be annoying:

He died unexpectedly at the age of 32 from a bad reaction to prescription drugs.
He could speak some Italian and Yiddish.
He was modest and was admired by most of his fellow actors.
He suffered from numerous mental problems for much of his life.
His second marriage was destroyed by David O. Selznick, who was jealous and wanted Walker's wife for himself.
