Hockey Player

The Resume

    (June 19, 1980- )
    Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
    Raised in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada
Drafted 60th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft
Goaltender for the Dallas Stars (2004, 2013-14), Nashville Predators (2007-10), Tampa Bay Lightning (2010-11), Anaheim Ducks (2011-12), Carolina Hurricanes (2012-13) and the Florida Panthers
Roger Crozier MBNA Saving Grace Award Winner (2008)

Why he might be annoying:

He was buried on the Stars depth chart for seven years.
He was virtually unheard of by hockey fans in mainstream circles prior to the 2007-08 season.
It took him three years to return to the NHL.
Despite his impressive performance in the regular season, he choked in the playoffs (2008).
After earning a contract extension, his inconsistent play led to him being benched the following season.

Why he might not be annoying:

He got the chance to play everyday after signing with the Predators.
When many hockey pundits expected the Predators to have a losing season as a result of an off-season fire sale, he proved them wrong by guiding the team to an unexpected playoff berth.
He became the first Predator to earn an award when he won the Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award (best save percentage).
He had a four game shutout streak (2008).
