The Resume

    (June 18, 1979- )
    Born in Markdale, Ontario, Canada
Drafted 161st overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the Ottawa Senators (2001-17)

Why he might be annoying:

He was missing his front teeth for the duration of his playing career.
He was primarily used as a pugilist early in his career.
He recorded 354 penalty minutes with the IHL’s Grand Rapids Griffins (2000-01).
He retired from the NHL with 2,522 career penalty minutes.
Some hockey pundits felt he was undeserving of having his jersey number retired by the Senators, primarily because he was an enforcer.

Why he might not be annoying:

He played his whole career with the Senators.
He wasn’t afraid to a stick up for his teammates when needed.
He was rewarded by the Senators coaching staff for his play, by being given a larger role playing on both the top six forward lines and on the power play.
He was involved with various charitable causes in the Ottawa area.
Despite his on-ice role as a scrapper, he was considered one of the nicest guys off it.
