Why they might be annoying:

Video makers, stylists and photographers could not downplay Carnie's obese size no matter how hard they tried.
Obese Carnie tried to look sexy along with the other members in their photo shoots.
Because Chynna was John and Michelle Phillips' daughter and Carnie and Wendy were Brian Wilson’s daughters, there was speculation that they acquired a record deal through nepotism.
The trio never tried to downplay who their parents were.
Their 'Shadows and Light' CD was made to explore Brian Wilson's dark side.

Why they might not be annoying:

The Wilson sisters and Chynna have been friends since childhood.
Their first CD produced many legitimate hits.
