The Resume

    (August 15, 1921-February 18, 2012)
    Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina
    Known as Argentina's 'Cement Lady'

Why she might be annoying:

Her full name is María Amalia Sara Lacroze Reyes Oribe de Fortabat Pourtale.
She was married to attorney Hernan De Lafuente when her eventual second husband, Alfredo Fortabat, began courting her in the 1940s.
The subsequent divorce caused a scandal in social circles.
Alfredo was 27 years her senior.
In 1997, she refused to award author Federico Andahazi the Fortabat Foundation's literary prize because his novel, The Anatomist, dealt with a scientist studying clitorises and didn't 'contribute to the exaltation of the highest values of the human spirit.'

Why she might not be annoying:

She was fluent in several languages.
After inheriting Alfredo's billion dollar fortune upon his 1976 death, she proved a shrewd businesswoman.
A noted patroness of art, she built a modern art museum to house the paintings she collected and host works by acclaimed artists.
The backlash over her refusal to present Andahazi with the prize caused a major backlash and his novel to become a worldwide bestseller.
