Orville (Millville, Indiana - August 19, 1871–January 30, 1948) and Wilbur (Dayton, Ohio - April 16, 1867–May 30, 1912)
Invented the machine powered heavier than air flying machine (December 17, 1903)
They had two other brothers and a sister

Why they might be annoying:

Wilbur suffered from depression.
They had a deep mistrust of other people and kept most their airplane experiments secretive.
They were so intellectually different that they would get into stubborn screaming matches, then sometimes getting confused and taking the opposite sides and arguing just as strenuously.

Why they might not be annoying:

Orville piloted the first airplane (1903).
Wilbur was accidentally hit in the mouth with a hockey stick while playing shinney (an ice hockey type game, Winter 1885/86). This injury caused him to be house bound for years.
They held records for longest sustained and controlled glides (1900-1903).
They were self-taught.
When the Wright Brothers' mother was dying of tuberculous, Wilbur tended to her.
They got along very well despite being totally different; Orville was a speed freak, athletic and mechanical while Wilbur was cautious, timid and a visionary thinker.
Wilbur wrote to the Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution: 'I believe that simple flight at least is possible to man. I am an enthusiast but not a crank. I wish to avail myself of all that is already known and then, if possible, add my bit.'
They always dressed dapper (derby and dress overcoat).
