Why he might be annoying:

He shares his name with a French-Canadian defenseman, whose career he overlapped.
He, along with his Flyer teammates Scott Hartnell, Ian Laperriere and James van Riemsdyk made cameo appearances in 'This Is 40.'
He opted to forego his senior season at Denver to turn pro with the Sharks, who would trade him two years later.
His tenure with the Predators lasted only six games.
He opted to unceremoniously retire, rather then look for another playing opportunity.
