    He was considered undersized for a linebacker by football pundits.
    He spent the majority of his career on a mediocre Cowboys team.
    Despite being a mainstay on the Cowboys defense, he was unceremoniously released when the team chose to move to a 3-4 defense.
    He signed a multi-year deal with the Rams, but retired two years into it.
