His mother caught him in bed with two girls.
He was expelled from his school for having sex with a girl during school hours.
His love hate relationship with brother Ray Davies affected the band's performance. Some concerts ended abruptly in fist fights.
He wore excessive stage makeup.
He had long hair (in a time where The Beatles' mop tops were still taboo).
He walked on stage with his scrotum hanging out of his unzipped fly.

Why she might not be annoying:

His solo single in 1967, 'Death of a Clown,' charted better than any Kink song.
Since 1967, he was promised the chance to record a solo album, only to be rejected time and time again for unknown reasons until 1980.
He and Pete Townshend are considered the first punk rockers.
Much of this material has resurfaced on bootlegs.
Dave's songs with The Kinks are blistering show-stoppers.
His signature riff on 'You Really Got Me,' according to many rock scholars, was the invention of heavy metal.
He says of his brother Ray, despite calling him countless names, he is 'my brother, and I love him.'
