He set a Roughriders franchise record for defensive tackles in a single season.
He recorded a 62 yard touchdown on a fumble recovery in the 1989 CFL West Finals, which propelled the Riders to an upset victory over the top-ranked Edmonton Eskimos (1989).
He was a member of the Roughriders team that won their first Grey Cup championship in 23 years weeks later.
He was a popular figure in Saskatchewan in the years following the team’s Grey Cup victory.
