    Assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls men's hockey team (1978-81), Michigan State men's hockey team (1984-89) and the Tampa Bay Lightning (2013-15)
    Head coach for the hockey teams at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (1981-82), Miami (Ohio) University (1989-94), University of Denver (1994-2013) and Valor Christian High School

Why he might be annoying:

    His last name is a mouthful to pronounce.
    He looks like John Heard.
    He left the Lightning weeks after the team's loss in the Stanley Cup Finals (2015).
    He admitted to struggling to adapt to the logistics of high school hockey upon taking the job at Valor Christian.
    He never played a game of professional hockey.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is the first person in the history of NCAA ice hockey to be a member of three national championship teams as a player, assistant coach and head coach.
    He guided the University of Denver men's hockey program to two consecutive national titles (2004-05).
    He served on Jon Cooper's coaching staff for both of Cooper's first two full seasons behind the Lightning bench.
    He opted to return to the Denver area and coach in the high school ranks following his departure from the Lightning.
    He is considered one of the more influential figures at establishing hockey in Colorado at the grassroots level.
