The Texans chose to draft him over Reggie Bush.
Many pundits and fans criticized this decision, stating that Bush was the better player.
Bush turned out to be the better overall player in the 2006 season.
In April 2007, he was caught on tape speeding on Interstate 40 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Why he might not be annoying:

His brother-in-law was killed in the War in Iraq.
He tried to give up football to support his sister but was talked back into playing.
He is one of the most physical players in the NFL.
He started all 16 games in his rookie season.
His coaches say that he is not into the hype and glory that other players are.
