Why he might be annoying:

    He shares his name with the author.
    His claim to fame in the NFL is the fact he was behind Drew Bledsoe and ahead of Tom Brady on the Patriots depth chart during the 2000 season.
    He was a journeyman player during his career, playing on six different teams in two different professional leagues.
    However, if you add in his time in arena football and NFL Europe, the total swells to 12.
    He was inconsistent as a starter in the professional ranks.
    He had a penchant for throwing interceptions at the worst times.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He elected to play at Kansas State University, as a result of being told he could play his natural position at quarterback.
    He finished second to Ricky Williams in Heisman Trophy voting, during his senior year at Kansas State (1998).
    He threw a successful Hail Mary touchdown pass in his first NFL game (1999).
    His athleticism drew praise from Tom Brady, who considered him to be one of the best athletes he watched.
    He earned a Grey Cup ring with the Argonauts (2004).
    In addition to that, he was a member of the Kansas State football team that won the Fiesta Bowl (1997).
