Why he might be annoying:

    He goes by the nickname 'Scrivey.'
    He was frequently a target of trade rumours in Toronto, and was rumoured to be part of an ill-fated trade proposal that would have sent Roberto Luongo to Toronto.
    He was dealt from Los Angeles to Edmonton, after being outplayed by Martin Jones, in Jonathan Quick's absence.
    He is notorious for allowing soft flukey goals.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He majored in hotel management at Cornell University.
    He gradually worked his way up to the Leafs roster, with stellar performances in the AHL and ECHL.
    He got the chance to play for his hometown Oilers, upon being traded from Los Angeles.
    He publicly called out an internet blogger who made derogatory comments in regards to his wife's assumption of him being traded to Edmonton.
    He wasn't afraid to show his disgust for the fans who threw their jerseys onto the ice in protest of the team's lackluster performance.
    He holds the NHL record for most saves recorded in a single shutout game (59 in 2014).
