Why he might be annoying:

    He is overshadowed by his younger brother.
    He and Dave were not only brothers, but also brothers-in-law as the two married (and later divorced) a set of sisters.
    He was injury prone throughout his career.
    He requested a trade from the Blues, citing he was unhappy with the way the team was being run.
    He was traded to his hometown Oilers, who later refused to accept the deal when he didn't live up to the conditions of it (1984).
    He was suspended by the Whalers when he refused to report to their minor league affiliate in Binghamton, New York (1987).
    He opted to retire altogether, instead of accept a second assignment to the minors.

    He and Dave were the highest drafted set of brothers in NHL history, prior to Sylvain and Pierre Turgeon.
    He was the first Blues player to score 50 goals in a season.
    He, alongside both Bernie Federko and Brian Sutter, formed the Blues famed 'Kid Line' during the 1980's.
    He held the Blues franchise records for goals and points scored by a right winger, prior to Brett Hull.
    He was involved with taking part in old-timer games and alumni fundraisers in the years following his retirement.
    He was a successful entrepreneur in the Winnipeg area, following his retirement from the NHL.
