Defenseman for the Springfield Kings (AHL) (1967-69), Salt Lake Golden Eagles (WHL) (1969-70), Oklahoma City Blazers (CHL) (1970), Fort Wayne Komets (IHL) (1970-72), Rochester Americans (AHL) (1972-76) and the Binghamton Dusters (NAHL) (1976-77)

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname was ‘Pags.’
He was a minor league journeyman.
He was unable to crack a weak Kings roster, despite the fact he was their inaugural draft pick.
To date, he is the last player to be drafted first overall never to reach the NHL.
Despite establishing himself as an offensive defenseman with Rochester of the AHL late in his career, he wasn’t given a call up to the NHL.

He is of Italian descent.
He was the first draft pick in the history of the Los Angeles Kings franchise.
He set a Rochester Americans franchise record for most goals scored by a defenseman in a regular season (18 in 1972-73).
He was Mike Milbury’s defensive partner during his tenure with Rochester.
He worked as a firefighter in his hometown of Sudbury following the end of his playing career.
