Why he might be annoying:

He tried to cash in on the British invasion with the album 'Big Band Beatlemania.'
He was hired to front the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra two decades after Dorsey's death because he could re-create Dorsey's trombone solos.
News of his death was overshadowed by that of Eddie Fisher, who had briefly sung with his big band.

Why he might not be annoying:

His version of Jimmy Forrest's 'Night Train' sold a million copies and was called 'the last great trombone hit record.'
Football Hall of Famer Dick Lane was nicknamed 'Night Train' after Morrow's record.
Despite being confined to a wheelchair, he continued playing trombone with the Dorsey Orchestra until a week before his death.
