Why she might be annoying:

She was dating Queen guitarist Brian May when Mercury first asked her out in 1970.
May wanted to name the band Build Your Own Boat, which she supported, but Mercury insisted the band's name be Queen.
Though still in love with Mercury, she married another man in 1990 and gave birth to a baby boy (she divorced after three years).
Mercury had lived with hairdresser Jim Hutton the last six years of his life, yet she was the one who benefited the most financially upon his death.

Why she might not be annoying:

Both her parents were deaf so she communicated with them through sign language.
Mercury often stated she was the only true friend he had in his life.
Mercury wrote several Queen songs about her - most famously 'Love of My Life.'
She was the first, and one of the very few, people Mercury told he tested HIV positive in 1987.
She named Mercury godfather of her first born child, but unfortunately he died just one year later.
One of her most prized possessions is the grand piano Mercury used to compose many of Queen's earlier hits, including 'Bohemian Rhapsody.'
