Pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1994-99; 2000), Chicago Cubs (2000), Anaheim Angels (2001), Texas Rangers (2002; 2003), Seattle Mariners (2002), San Diego Padres (2004) and the Florida Marlins (2004-05)

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname was 'The Rocket.'
He played on seven different teams, which included two stints with the Dodgers and Rangers.
He went by the Anglicized spelling of Valdes for the majority of his career, before changing it to Valdez in the final couple seasons.
He had an enormous unibrow.
He was suspended for six games after he intentionally beaned Mark Grace in a game (2000).
He was named in the Mitchell Report for steroid abuse.

He was a member of the Mexico City Tigres team that won the Mexican League championship (1992).
He was the youngest player in the majors in the 1994 season, when he made his debut at 20 years of age.
He recorded six complete games during his first full season in the majors (1996).
