Full name is Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham.
Obtained law degree from University of London (1948)
Co-founded People’s Progressive Party (January 1, 1950)
Founded People's National Congress (1958)
Prime Minister of Guyana (May 26, 1966-October 6, 1980)
President of Guyana (October 6, 1980-August 6, 1985)

Why he might be annoying:

He got into a rivalry with fellow politician Cheddi Jagan which led him to create another political party three years later (1955).
He encouraged Jim Jones to move his cult into Guyana, causing the Jonestown Massacre to happen in Guyana as a result.
After 1967, he messed up elections in order to stay in power.
He brought his country closer to Communist countries such as Cuba and the former Soviet Union (1970).
He ended up making Guyana a poor and bankrupt country.
He had his political opponents beaten by thugs, chased out of the country, and assassinated.
His dictatorial policies resulted in mass emigration from Guyana, which reduced the country’s population (1980s).

Why he might not be annoying:

He brought Guyana to independence.
He improved the relations between Guyana’s African and Asian (Indian) populations by allowing the latter to hold government positions.
He was a gifted orator.
