Why she might be annoying:

Because she appeared in the videos for the album Bat Out of Hell and toured with Meatloaf, many people assume that she sang on the album, Bat Out of Hell instead of the actual singer, Ellen Foley, whose voice she was lip synching to in the videos.
Due to the sometimes heated nature of the videos and stage performances with Meatloaf, she was falsely rumored to have been romantically involved with him.
    She doesn't write music.
True stardom seems to have passed her by.
She has never won any type of major award for her acting or singing.
She isn't even remotely related to Danny Devito.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was a cheerleader in high school.
She filled in for Linda Ronstadt on Broadway when Ronstadt fell ill during her time appearing in The Pirates of Penzance.
She's been married to Robby Benson since 1982.
Her husband, Robby Benson, wrote the musical 'Open Heart' for her.
She dramatically curtailed her career to concentrate on her family.
She produced her daughter's first album.
She has a spectacular voice with an amazing range. People magazine wrote, 'Devito's bold vocal style is a shotgun wedding of Broadway bravado and reckless rock.'
With appearances on TV, in movies, and on stage along with her musical performances, she has a very successful and varied career.
It's worth mentioning that she's really hot.
