Played home games at the Worcester Centrum (1989-91), Boston Garden (1990-95) and the Fleet Center (1996-97)

They lost their first game.
They relocated to Boston in order to draw a larger fanbase.
Many casual fans wrongfully assume they are associated with the present day Boston Blazers franchise.
They ceased operations due to financial problems.

Why New England Blazers might not be annoying:

The present day franchise used the Blazers name to pay homage to the franchise.
They drew a massive following in the New England region.
They played their home games at the historic Boston Gardens.
It is a separate entity from the present day franchise.
