Why she might be annoying
She was portrayed by Lily from the Munsters in 'The Ten Commandments.'
When Moses' brother and sister complained about his getting married during his time in exile from Egypt, God punished Miriam by giving her leprosy (harsh).
She saved her husband from being attacked by God by flinging her son's foreskin at his feet en route to Egypt.
She is depicted in adaptations going on the Exodus from Egypt with her husband, but Moses had actually sent her and the kids packing long before he got the chance to part the Sea of Reeds and get the Ten Commandments.
Why she might not be annoying
She had to put up with her husband talking to a burning bush.
She has been depicted as Ethiopian in biblical art.
She met Moses after he saved her and her sisters from from being harassed by shepherds while they were getting water from the well for their flocks.
She was given to Moses as a wife by Jethro as a 'gift' in gratitude.
By all accounts, Moses neglected her.
She was voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer in 'The Prince of Egypt.'
She gets little attention despite being married to one of the most crucial people in the Bible (retellings would focus more on his 'two moms' and Miriam).
