His career was uneventful until he was part of the deal that sent Ray Bourque to the Avalanche.
He is primarily a defensive forward.
He named one of his sons Stone.
He was traded for super pest Claude Lemieux.
He signed with the Wild in 2004 but couldn't make his debut with the team the following year as a result of the lockout.

Why he might not be annoying:

He emerged as a leader in the locker room during his first season in Minnesota.
He was a member of the first Devils Stanley Cup championship team (1995).
As a freshman, he scored the clinching goal that helped Lake Superior State clinch the 1993 Frozen Four championship.
He is a clutch player on both power plays and penalty killing.
He set a Wild franchise record for most points in a season (79 in 2006).
