Hockey Player

The Resume

    (January 5, 1966- )
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Drafted 113th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the St. Louis Blues (1988-91)

Why he might be annoying:

He was injury prone during his career.
He is remembered by hockey pundits for being the player who caused a near-fatal accident on ice during a game.
His skate blade sliced Clint Malarchuk's neck, causing him to bleed out profusely on the ice (March 22, 1989).
He became a minor league journeyman following his departure from the Blues.
His NHL rights were traded twice, but he was unable to crack the roster on both a poor Nordiques and an expansion Lightning team.

Why he might not be annoying:

He majored in business at the University of Wisconsin.
He earned All-American honors during his senior year at Wisconsin (1987-88).
He played exceptionally well for the Blues during his three seasons with the team.
His departure from St. Louis wasn't entirely his fault, as some hockey pundits felt he was actually forced out when the team opted to get bigger up front.
He showed genuine concern for Malarchuk, following the accident that saw his skate blade slice the latter's neck.
