Playboy magazine in reviewing 'This Perfect Day,' said it would make a great movie. However, it was not made into a movie.
'This Perfect Day' borrowed influences from Orwell's '1984.'

Thirty years after writing 'Rosemary's Baby,' he wrote the much less successful 'Son of Rosemary' (1997).
