Why they might be annoying:

Their album cover had a naked prepubescent girl.
They only released one album.
They were together for less than a year.
Although they were supposed to be a super group of famous musicians, Rick Grech was fairly unknown.

Why they might not be annoying:

They all came from other established bands: Clapton and Baker were in Cream; Winwood was in Traffic; and Grech was in Family.
When news of the band got out, record labels and concert promoters started throwing money at them.
Their song 'Can't Find My Way Home' still plays on classic rock radio.
After the band broke up, Winwood went back to Traffic.
