    Recorded the singles ‘Focus’ (2017), ‘Best Part’ (with Daniel Caesar, 2017), ‘Could’ve Been’ (featuring Bryson Tiller, 2018), 'Hard Place' (2018), ‘Slide’ (featuring YG., 2019), and ‘Slow Down’ (with Skip Marley, 2019)

Why she might be annoying:

    She tried to keep her identity concealed.
    Ironically, she claims her recording name stands for ‘Having Everything Revealed.’
    Before becoming ‘H.E.R.,’ she released the single ‘Something to Prove’ under her real name (2014).
    She makes comments like ‘The people resonate with [my music] so much because H.E.R. is everyone.’

    She is half Filipino and half African American.
    She performed covers of Alicia Keys songs on Today and The View before reaching her teens.
    Rolling Stone named her an ‘Artist You Need to Know.’ (March, 2017)
    Janet Jackson said that H.E.R.’s music helped her through her pregnancy.
