Why he might be annoying:

    He played on ten different NHL teams.
    He changed his number three times in two separate stints with the Canadiens.
    He is one of a select handful of players to play for both franchises in the New York City (Rangers & Islanders) and Los Angeles (Kings & Ducks) metropolitan areas.
    He was involved in a contract dispute with the Leafs, and sat out the first few games of the 1998-99 season, until he was traded to the Rangers.
    During the first lockout, he taped a sign on his helmet that read 'Bettman Sucks' in protest (1994).
    His tenure with the Canucks ended after was demoted to the minors, then later traded to Phoenix where he played the final eight games of his NHL career.

    He is the son of a Jewish American father and a French Canadian mother, which explains the spelling of his first name.
    He earned a Stanley Cup ring as a member of the Canadiens (1993).
    He was considered a skilled defenseman with a strong offensive prowess during his prime years.
    As of 2018, he is the highest scoring Jewish player in NHL history.
    He worked in an executive position for the NHLPA following his retirement from active play.
