The Resume

    (October 3, 1891-January 7, 1904)
Born in New York City, New York
Daughter of President Grover Cleveland and First Lady Frances Cleveland
According to the Curtiss Candy Company, namesake for the Baby Ruth candy bar

Why she might be annoying:

Curtiss introduced the Baby Ruth in 1921, when she had been dead for 17 years and when Babe Ruth was the biggest name in American sports.
Curtiss tried to bolster their story by claiming that company founder Otto Schnering named the bar after Cleveland because of his fond memories of a visit she made to his candy factory.
Schnering founded the company n 1916, so Cleveland would not have been making any visits, except as a ghost.
Ironically, Curtiss sued and shut down an authorized Babe Ruth candy bar on the grounds that the name was too similar to their product.

Why she might not be annoying:

During her father's second term, she was known as 'the nation's sweetheart.'
She died of diphtheria at age 12.
She was hardly in a position to stop a ruthless candy company from using her as an excuse to avoid paying royalties to a ballplayer.
