President/Chief Operating Officer and acting commissioner of the CFL (1989)

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname was ‘The Undertaker.’
He shares his name with a baseball player and an ice hockey player.
He never played on a Grey Cup championship team during his career.
He spent the majority of his career on a Riders team that was entrenched in mediocrity.
Despite being considered a commissioner for the CFL, he was actually one of two men to co-hold the title.

He was a first team all-star during all four years as a member of the football team at Otterbein College.
He was considered a defensive standout during his CFL career.
His belief as a football player was that the opponent was as big as you made them out to be.
Despite being considered an intimidating force as a defensive player, he was respected by the quarterbacks from opposing teams.
