    Fifth and final adult host of 'Wonderama!' (August 13, 1967-December 25, 1977)
    Hosted 'Kids Are People Too!' (1978)
    Due to creative disputes, he left 'Wonderama'
    Sold instructional videos on ventriloquism
    Died of a heart attack

Why he might be annoying:

    His energy and child like demeanor turned off parents.
    His version of 'Wonderama' was a non-stop giveaway show with immature comedy.
    He gave away loads of junk food and junk toys on 'Wonderama!.'
    He was not a very good ventriloquist. He named his ventriloquist dummy 'Chauncey.'
    He was a contestant on 'Ted Mack's Original Amateur Hour!'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He genuinely loved kids.
    He treated kids with respect and fairness.
    He has a great sense of fun.
    He was a good comedy magician, comic/character actor and pantomimist.
    He sang on his shows and helped to create the tune 'Kids Are People Too.'
    He owned the rights to the song and the title (even though he didn't owned the rights to the ABC TV series and he had no creative control over the show's format).
